This piece was designed with the challenge of creating a site-specific piece for personally influential experiences had during the Tyler Metals Workshop during the summer of 2014. Drawing inspiration from the Avebury Stone Circle, a monolithic pagan stone structure in England's countryside, this two finger ring considers aspects of the monolithic nature of each stone, and the sheep who live among the stones. Particularly interested in exploring the highway road which completely bisects the stone circle, the wearer's hand acts as a bisecting plane to the metal monolith.
Sterling Silver and 10 karat yellow gold two finger ring set with raw and processed wool from the Summer of 2014.
